Creative problem solving has always been my thing. As a child, I volunteered to join a program called Odyssey of the Mind, where their sole purpose was to challenge us to push beyond traditional ways of thinking. Becoming a finalist at their annual event, was the kick-starter for me becoming an Engineer. As time went on, I became fascinated with the field of Bio-engineering and its use of traditional engineering theories to capture the inherent powers of the world we live in.

Post graduation, I worked as a hands on Engineer, helping clients validate clean technologies in an effort to secure financing. It was during these experiences that I realized, A problem solved...is just the beginning and the ideas that live on have one thing in common... Economics! The year was 2009 and economics were more important than ever.

With a newfound appreciation for the external forces at play, I dug deeper and took a chance on my first start-up.

With technology as a constant, I became well-versed in the many other variables that would lead me to relocate to Washington D.C.

It was baptism by fire, throwing an Engineer into the midst of policy, financing, and taxes. However, it was this experience at a small start-up, that helped me put my arms around the abstract concept of business.

With the completion of my MBA, I was able to identify my strengths in leadership, decision models, and corporate finance to finalize my vision for this firm. It is with great passion and excitement that I infuse what I’ve learned along the way into this company, keep pushing beyond traditional ways of thinking, and enable clients industry wide to achieve their clean technology goals.
